In the first sample, we hear the enhanced piano accompaniment throughout.  The intro and first verse are piano alone, joined by the vocal countermelody, sung by a soprano voice, on the second verse.

In the second sample, we again hear the enhanced piano accompaniment throughout.  After the intro and first verse with piano alone, the instrumental countermelody is added on the second verse, played by a violin.
