Called to Serve is hymn #249 in HYMNS of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (1985).

Text: Grace Gordon, alt.

Music: Walter G. Tyler

Our arrangement (©2012 CC) includes:

SATB for organ or piano, the same SATB found in the current hymnbook of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Regular hymnbooks can be used by all those singing SATB parts.

Enhanced piano accompaniment which can be used alone, or with the organ SATB as a piano/organ duet accompaniment for congregational singing.

Instrumental countermelody which could be used on some or all verses.

In this sample, we hear the enhanced piano accompaniment playing throughout.  Vocals singing the SATB parts as found in the current LDS hymnbook join in on the first verse and a flute playing the instrumental countermelody joins in on the second verse.
